With three part-time staff plus interns, MCLP has outgrown the one-room office space we have occupied for the past five years at Illinois State University (ISU). On September 10, 2014, we will move the MCLP office from ISU to a larger location at Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU).
ISU has always been a major supporter of MCLP, generously providing us with an office, meeting spaces, and the Brown Ballroom for graduation. We appreciate this support and are pleased ISU will continue to be an administrative partner with MCLP.
Meanwhile, IWU offered us a larger space—five times larger than our current one! Our new office suite will occupy the entire main level of the IWU Theater Arts Annex at 1309 Park Street in Bloomington, IL. The space includes two private offices, an open workspace, conference room, and a parlor—which we will develop into an “alumni room” with comfortable seating for casual conversation. A small private kitchen and a restroom complete the facility. We thank our new administrative partner, IWU. Now we have room to grow!
